About the Role

What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-performance backend applications using Python and Django
• Architect and implement scalable RESTful APIs that power our enterprise solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into elegant technical solutions
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures
• Optimize application performance and database efficiency
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior team members

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python and Django frameworks
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and implementation
• Experience with database technologies including Django ORM, SQL, and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Proficiency with Git version control and CI/CD workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a remote environment

Bonus Points For

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
