About the Role

Join our innovative US-based B2B startup as a Senior QA Engineer and be the guardian of our product quality. In this role, you'll combine your expertise in both black box and white box testing methodologies with automation skills to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards. As part of our remote-first team, you'll establish testing practices that help us deliver exceptional experiences to our enterprise clients.

What You'll Do

• Design comprehensive test strategies covering functional, structural, and automated testing
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
• Create detailed test plans and test cases for new and existing features
• Identify, document, and track bugs through their resolution lifecycle
• Perform thorough regression testing to ensure quality across releases
• Collaborate with developers to improve product quality and user experience
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide quality insights to the team
• Stay current with emerging testing tools and methodologies

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance
• Proven experience with both black box (functional) and white box (structural) testing
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems
• Understanding of software development lifecycles
• Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills in English
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a remote environment

Bonus Points For

• ISTQB or similar professional certification
• Experience with performance and security testing
• API testing expertise
• Mobile application testing experience
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
